Fleeting ideas captured on a series of coffee stained napkin notes.
A mad man's stationery.
As tight as my grip seemed, the pen slips.
I choke on loves despair.
My chaotic heart and hand trembling.
I miss you, but I can't stand to look at you.
The feelings I get just can't be true.
I just want to spread my wings and take flight.
Far away to some fantasy where I can be free of you.
My dreams & my reality leave me caught in the middle of Heaven & Hell.
Cold rain, & sleepless nights always leave me missing you.
I yearn for the feeling of your lips to kiss,
That deep embrace, passionate bliss.
Moonlight and shadows, empty rooms at midnight.
Secret sensuality never remiss,
Hope and glory removed from the abyss.
If pain is an emotion such as love could be,
Drowning in a sea of unfathomable bliss.
If only you would stay next to me all day,
But that can never happen because you've ran away.
